Here is a fantastic watch by Bulova that was made in 1974 and has so many great features about it.
Firstly, it has the highly accurate and unique Bulova Accutron movement - one of the first watches to use a battery to power the gear train via the tuning forks. The second hand on an accutron will "sweep" as opposed to the modern "tick" on a quartz watch today.
The case of this accutron is amazing! It is a stainless steel retro styled case sometimes reffered to as a "lobster" case or a 'helmut" case due to its design.
As you can see in the images, it also has 2 other great features on the case - the extra crown at the 2 o'clock position which will turn the outer uni-directional rotating bezel, and the day-date feature. This really is a great looking watch on the wrist.
The case measures an impressive 43mm across x 52mm from top to bottom, and has lugs to fit a 24mm band.
