Here is a magnificent Ceylonese sapphire and diamond ring that would suit any finger and always make a statement and also make a very elegant engagement ring.
Made in 18ct white gold in a very Art Deco style reminiscent of the 1920's, Ceylonese sapphires have long been regarded as the finest in the world thanks to the perfect blue that they exhibit and wonderful transparency allowing you to see right through the stone.
The sapphire measures 2.04 carats and displays that highly sought after corn flower blue colour. Even the claws supporting the sapphire have been wonderfully engraved and shaped in a geometric design to add to the wonderful feel of the 1920's jewellery.
On each side of the sapphire the stepped design in set with a total of seven round brilliant cut diamonds and again is designed to appeal to those who love Art Deco jewellery but want a modern ring.
The diamonds total 0.14 carats and are F to G in colour and Vs in clarity meaning they are nice white and clean diamonds.
From one side where the diamonds start across to the other end, this distance measures 16.9mm across by 7.5mm wide at the centre. Then going down the band, it is wonderfully engraved adding even more appeal to an already stunning and very elegant ring.
If you are after a very elegant ring including an engagement ring that will always look so elegant, then this one might just be the one.
