Clock with Donatello’s Gattamelata

 Here is a truly sensational and beautiful antique clock.

 Made in the early 1900’s, this clock has a French 8-day movement, that strikes on the hour and half hour, and has all been serviced and runs perfect.
 The engraved detailing is wonderful to admire all on its own.

 However, it is the top that is just wonderful – made with a spelter figure of Donatello’s equestrian figure of Gattamelata. The attention to detail from the rider through to the horse is magnificent and will certainly be a talking piece.

 The measurements are: 30cm (l) x 15.5cm (d) x 23.5cm (h) – 48cm when including the horse.

 This is one clock that is a work of art as much as a fine timepiece.
