Here is a sapphire and diamond cluster ring from the early Art Deco period that looks sensational on the finger.
Hand made in 18ct yellow gold and platinum, both the sapphire in the centre and the diamonds are milgrain set which is that very fine and elegant "crimping" surrounding the stones, typical of this era.
The natural sapphire in the centre is the star of the show in this ring and measures 3.30 carats in size and is surrounded by 14 diamonds to give the ring that extra sparkle. These diamonds total 0.42 carats and dazzle day or night.
The ring measures 1.6cm from top to bottom by 1.2cm wide and sits so well on the finger, this ring would be perfect for any occasion, and would make a truly wonderful engagement ring.
