Here is a truly delightful antique peridot and pearl necklace that will make you feel like a Princess every time that you wear it.
Beautifully made in 15ct gold in the Edwardian era of the early 1900's, this magnificent peridot and pearl necklace looks so elegant and refined on the neckline.
Set with 11 very vibrant peridots that were all matched so well in colour, it is also set with 66 pearls that graduate so elegantly in size along the piece as well as attached to the suspended gold chain.
From the peridot at one end to the peridot at the other, it measures 10.4cm across and from the centre measures 4.4cm and the necklace has been added with an extra chain at the back to wear it longer or shorter if needed.
The symmetry and design of this pendant is so typical of the pieces of jewellery being made in the late Victorian to Edwardian eras, and 15ct gold was only used up until 1932.
Antique jewellery including of course antique necklaces such as this so often have that 'something" that many of the mass produced modern jewellery just doesn't have, and when this is on your neck you will know how individual and special this piece is.
