Edwardian designed diamond engagement ring set with antique diamonds

Here is a truly beautifully hand made Edwardian designed diamond engagement ring set with antique diamonds that is perfect for someone who wants a new ring, but made in the exact style as 100 years ago.

Not only is this ring hand made in 18ct yellow gold and platinum, but the major point of difference between this antique reproduction engagement ring and many others on the market today, is that it has been made using the same technique as what was used a century ago as well as being set with genuine antique cut diamonds.

In the centre is a vibrant antique mine cut diamond that measures 0.55 carats and is F in colour and VS in clarity. Not only is this a very white and clean diamond, however it is also a genuine mine cut diamond from over 100 years ago that suits this ring perfectly.

Even the three diamonds on each side are worthy to note. Not only is the setting absolutely beautiful, but the diamonds are the earlier antique single cut diamonds which were used in the early 1900's. As there was not the technology back then to cut diamonds that small with 58 facets like today, the single cut diamonds were used and compliment not only the detail but the ring as a whole in keeping true to its design. These additional diamonds total 0.08 carats and lead to the elegant yellow gold band.
