Perfect as an engagement ring or for any other occasion comes this very elegant Edwardian era antique ruby and diamond ring that was made in 1908.
Hand made in 18ct yellow gold, this ring is set with three magnificent Burmese rubies that have the most gorgeous red combined with perfect transparency allowing you to see right through each of the rubies. Where today many rubies are glass or lead filled which is an unstable treatment, these rubies that were mined and cut over a century ago have of course no undergone this treatment.
The three rubies total 1.42 carats and are the real star of the ring and are highlighted by the two diamonds set on each side of the centre ruby.
These antique cut diamonds total 0.12 carats and add the right amount of sparkle without taking away from the gorgeous colour of the rubies.
From left to right the top of the ring measures 14.6mm across by 5.2mm wide at the centre and has the most beautiful scroll work on the sides.
No matter the occasion, this antique ruby and diamond ring is just spectacular.
