Edwardian era suffragette pendant

The suffragette movement started in the late 19th Century and was defining in allowing woman to vote and was often represented by the colours green, white and violet that was used in jewellery worn and is seen here in this very elegant Edwardian era suffragette pendant in its original box.

The colours associated with the suffragette movement are green, white and violet, and here in this suffragette pendant, the heart shaped amethyst is surrounded by the very rare green demantoid garnets and those charming natural pearls and this gorgeous pendant is aesthetically perfect and sits so well on the neckline.

Dating from the early 1900’s, it was made by the English jewellery company Austin and Williams and also comes in its original velvet lined box that adds that extra bit of history to an already historical movement.

Measuring 20.6mm wide by 30.6mm high or 41.2mm to the top of the bail, this is one pendant that will always be admired.

A truly spectacular antique suffragette pendant that not only looks so elegant and refined but is also a piece of history to wear and enjoy.
