Elegant Victorian era antique sapphire and diamond ring

Here is a very elegant Victorian era antique sapphire and diamond ring that is not only set with magnificent antique European cut diamonds, but also the most vibrant natural blue sapphires that sit magnificently in the centre. Dating from the late 1800’s, this ring was made in 18ct yellow gold and set with two smaller sapphires on each side of the larger central sapphire. In total the sapphires weigh 1.80 carats and are all matched perfectly for colour and transparency. With such a vibrant blue from all three of them, this ring stands out so beautiful in the natural light. And then there are the eight European cut diamonds that have a total weight of 0.48 carats and compliment both the design of the ring and the sapphires so well. Measuring 11.2mm wide at the centre by 16.6mm across, this ring would also make a wonderful example of a lovely and unique antique engagement ring. Regardless of the finger or occasion that it is bought for, there is little denying that it will always be loved and admired.
