Enamel silver bracelet made by Knut Andreas Rasmussen
$0.00
This beautiful bracelet was made in the 1940’s, yet has such a modern and contemporary design to it that will so easily allow it to be worn alongside other vintage jewellery as well as modern, and always look and feel perfect on the wrist.
Made in Norway by the jewellery firm Knut Andreas Rasmussen which started in 1872, this company became a leading jewellery firm which is still around today.
With the bracelet enameled in a technique called guilloché enamel, this is a enamelling technique that is produced by a very precise and repetitive pattern that is engraved into an underlying material such as gold or silver, it then has the enamel applied over the top and after the firing process is complete, it is polished back to a high lustre revealing the engraved pattern below the surface. This technique was used in this bracelet giving it not just a wonderful smooth tactile feel to the touch, but a gorgeous design just below the surface.
Each of the wave design links measure 2.5cm wide and from end to end the bracelet measures 17cm in length and is fitted with a safety chain for added security.
Perfect for day or night, this vintage enamel bracelet will always be loved and admired.
