Here is an antique bracelet that although it may look like many others, is so rare and unique that finding another is extremely unlikely.
Nearly all genuine antique curb link bracelets from the late 1800's and into the early 1900's were hollow and mostly made in 9 carat gold, with a few rare ones being made in 15 carat gold, however here we have one that is not only solid, but was also made in 18 carat yellow gold. Finding a solid, genuine antique 18 carat curb link bracelet is a real find and one that is so exciting to see let alone wear.
Made in Edinburgh in 1912, the curb links each measure 6.5mm wide and have such a beautiful smooth and tactile feel to them that wraps so elegantly around the wrist. Each link is individually stamped and not only is the padlock stamped with the makers initials of "EK" but so is one of the links confirming that this is all original. Measuring 19.5cm, this is the perfect size, width and design to wear day or night and thanks to the wonderful solid heft of the bracelet, it feels sensational on the wrist.
In a lovely fitted box that was retailed by James Henderson also in Edinburgh, this completes the bracelet perfectly.
In over 30 years of dealing in antique jewellery, this is one of only a few solid antique curb link bracelet that we have ever had, and the very first in 18 carat gold making this a truly exceptional find.
