Here is a fabulous hand made Art Deco ring made in the 1920's entirely in platinum that looks incredible on the finger and will certainly stand out every time that it is worn.
The fine detail in this ring is incredible and measuring 18mm by 15mm across means that it takes up the top part of the finger and accentuates the hand so well.
Running across the centre are three early brilliant cut diamonds that total 0.75 carats and separating these diamonds from the other diamonds is a row of synthetic sapphires. When synthetic rubies and sapphires were first invented in the early part of the 1900’s and started coming onto the market soon there after, they were embraced by jewellers and the public alike as for the jewellers they could now have access to evenly matched fancy cut stones and the public as these were all new and an exciting leap forward in technology at the time. The blue of these sapphires stand out so well against the pure white of the platinum as well as the diamonds.
At each end is a larger European cut diamond as well two smaller European cut diamonds, and these diamonds come together to total 0.94 carats and sparkle magnificently.
With fine pierce working in the ring which can only be achieved by the ring being made in platinum, this is a fabulous example of a genuine Art Deco ring that is so beautiful in its design.
