This clock is so romantic in its subject matter and the case is such a wonderful shape, that it will always be apprecitated and admired.
Made in the 1870's, it has a French movment by F. Rotig that strikes on the hour and half hour.
The large dial stands out with the traditional Roman numerals as well as having 5 minute markers and those wonderful hands.
This is a great clock for any room in the house.
