Georgian rings are very hard to find, and this Georgian mourning ring is in sensational condition.
The ring is so typical of the Georgian era and has been engraved on the reverse, "Philip Davis ob 18 Oct 1798 ab 54"
It is made in rose gold, and is set with a hand engraved "D" surrounded by natural seed pearls, and framed in a blue and white border. The entire top is protected by hand polished rock crystal.
This ring is a wonderful example of Georgian mourning rings, and should be seen and worn to be fully appreciated.
