Art Deco diamond engagement ring - need we say more?
How wonderful is it to own and wear a genuine Art Deco diamond ring let alone when it is worn as an engagement ring such as this gorgeous one here.
Entirely hand made in the mid-1920's in 18ct white gold and platinum, this ring is set with a 1.06 carat diamond in the centre and then highlighted with a diamond on each side.
So typical of fine hand made Art Deco rings, the detail that went into making this ring is also what gives so much more charm and character to an Art Deco engagement ring.
The centre diamond measures 1.06 carats and is K in colour and VS in clarity and the two side diamonds total 0.02 carats and give it that extra twinkle in the light.
Platinum was commonly used in Art Deco rings and allowed the jeweller to create wonderful intricate designs in jewellery while all the time holding the gemstones securely and is the purest of all the metals.
Combined with the 18ct white gold band, this is such a gorgeous example of an Art Deco engagement ring and one that will be treasured forever.
