Art Deco diamond engagement rings have such a beautiful look and design to them that have remained the most popular and sought after of designs, and here is a very elegant hand made 1920's era Art Deco diamond engagement ring that looks so elegant on the finger and will truly be loved and admired.
Whereas many rings are CAD cast today by machine and computer, this one was all hand made using both white gold and platinum. With platinum being incredibly popular during the Art Deco era for its pure white colour that never tarnishes as well as its incredible strength, the platinum supports a lovely European cut diamond that measures 0.34 carats and sits flush with the top of the setting. Measuring 5.2mm wide, the diamond sparkles so beautifully and is then highlighted by having a single cut diamond set on each side. However these diamonds were not just set into the band, rather they were into a beautifully engraved section with triangular designs in a style called Egyptian revival. This was a style influenced heavily by Howard Carter's discovery of King Tutankhamun's tomb in 1922. These smaller diamonds total 0.02 carats and lead to the elegant and smooth band.
There is nothing quite like a genuine Art Deco diamond engagement ring sitting beautifully on your finger, and this one is simply divine.
