Ladies Cartier La Dona watch reference 2385

The Cartier La Dona has such a beautiful and unique case design, and due to its short production run and fabulous design, is a much desired and highly sought after watch by Cartier.

The Cartier La Dona was released by Cartier in 2006, and was made in honour of their long term client, the singer and actress Maria Felix (1914-2002).

Due to her bold and strong sense of style, she was affectionately given the moniker “La Dona”.

When Cartier made the La Dona in her honour, it was fashioned after her favourite animal in jewellery – the crocodile. Having an asymmetrically shaped watch case, it was to mimic the jaws being open. This case measures 18mm across at the top and 21mm wide at the bottom, giving it such an incredible look on the wrist.

Made in stainless steel, the dial has Cartier’s distinct look with the Roman numerals that graduate out in size, and is fitted on the beautiful stainless steel band that feels so sleek and comfortable to wear all the time.
