When these were first made, the Albertina’s were originally used to hold a ladies pocket watch at one end and attached to an outfit via the tee bar, however today these are more commonly worn as a bracelet where they drape beautifully over the wrist with such a feminine look and style to them, and this one here is so elegant and perfect for any occasion and time of the day or night.
Made in the late Victorian era of the 1890's, it was made in 9 carat rose gold and the colour of the rose gold has that wonderful warm tone to it that looks amazing on the skin. The soft colour is just so beautiful and adds to the feminine look of the bracelet that will make it always get the admiration and attention that it deserves.
Designed with three rows of facetted belcher links, the way each individual link is facetted allows it to capture and reflect the light wonderfully and then at one end is the swivel and the other the beautiful tee bar that has a twisted design to it. And then at each end of the belcher links is the most charming end caps that have an elegant intricate design that adds that extra element of beautify and character to the bracelet.
Measuring 21.3cm from end to end, then the swivel is attached to the round link near the tee bar, this distance measures 19.5cm and allows it to sit beautifully around the wrist.
Perfect for any woman of any age, this ladies Albertina is as beautiful today as when it was made over a century ago.
