Here is an Art Deco ear watch dating from the 1920's that is just as much a piece of jewellery as it is a fine wrist watch.
Perfect for any lady who is after a very fine diamond set Art Deco watch, the watch case is made in platinum which was a typical precious metal of choice for many of the jewellers and watch case makers of the 1920's as it is a very pure white and works so well when it is set with diamonds.
The case itself measures 27.8mm by 10.1mm wide plus the crown and is set with 38 diamonds. The side of this watch case hasn't gone untouched as it has the most wonderful engraved patterns on both sides which just adds so much extra charm and character to this already delightful watch. The diamond is all original and still very easy to read with the numerals and the dial itself measures 13.3mm by 6.5mm.
Set on a 9ct white gold band, the band itself is set with 26 diamonds on each end that adds so much sparkle to the watch and really makes it stand out.
The 90 diamonds in the watch case and band totals 1 carat and this is a stunning example of a fine platinum diamond watch from the Art Deco era.
Inside the watch is a 15 jewelled manual wind Swiss movement that has been fully serviced and comes with our 1 year warranty.
The jewellers of the 1920's looked at watches as being a piece of jewellery as much as they did towards rings and earrings and other pieces of jewellery and when you see how this diamond watch sparkles and looks on the wrist it will amaze you at how much work and attention to detail has gone into the very special watch that looks as good as an Art Deco diamond bracelet.
