A vintage LeCoultre Futurematic made in the 1950’s in a gold filled case.
The Futurematics are wonderful! Firstly the watch has a great dial with the sub-seconds at the 3 O’clock position, and a power reserve at the 9 O’clock position.
While the dial is not spotless, iti s 100% original and has not been re-painted.
Secondly, to set the watch, there is a “slide” button that is slid across to change the time.
The case itself is great. With fancy lugs, the watch case measures a nice 36mm and looks superb on the wrist.
The “bumper” style automatic movement has been servied and runs great.
Overall, if you are after a highly desirable and collectable vintage watch, especially by LeCoultre, then this Futurematic might just be it!
