The Lightning Ridge black opal is a wonderful free formed shape and measures 5.85 carats.
With an elegant bezel setting both securing and protecting the opal, the pendant which is made in 18ct yellow gold is set with 14 round brilliant cut diamonds that total 0.26 carats and give this pendant the right amount of added sparkle without overshadowing the quality of this opal.
There are two diamonds that are bezel set and the further 12 channel set adding to the charm of this pendant.
The setting for the opal itself measures 21.5mm across by 17.3mm high and from the bottom of the setting to the very top where the chain passes through, this distance measures 26.5mm.
