Magnificent Art Deco sapphire and diamond hand made in platinum

Exquisitely made during the Art Deco period of the 1930's, this piece exemplifies the beauty of platinum by not only being pure white in colour, but being able to have such fine pierce work detail throughout that only platinum can achieve. While white gold is wonderful, gold simply can not be drawn into such a fine wire and still have the strength needed to hold it all together. Regardless of the sapphires and diamonds, the design is breathtaking and is the epitome of Art Deco jewellery.

Measuring 18.8cm in length, the panels allow it to wrap so beautifully around the wrist and in total the diamonds come together to total 4.55 carats and the sapphires 7.20 carats.

Each panel measures 8.2mm wide, and even the side of the bracelet has been beautifully hand engraved highlighting just how much thought and attention went into hand making this bracelet all those years ago.
