Murrle, Bennett & Co was founded in 1884 by the Englishman Mr Bennett and German Mr Mürrle and quickly became very successful as the embraced and made jewellery in the highly sought after and now collectable Art Nouveau period, and here is a very elegant antique amethyst and pearl ring that was made in 15 carat gold by the company in the early 1900's.
Set with a beautiful marquise shaped amethyst, the amethyst and the rose gold setting compliment each other perfectly and all of this is then highlighted by the border of twenty four natural seed pearls.
The lozenge shape of the ring measures 21.6mm by 10.8mm across, and accentuates the finger so well making this a ring that will always be admired and loved. The elegant design works perfectly for any occasion and the band has a lovely triple design that compliments the ring even further.
Absolutely perfect for any event, this antique ring is as beautiful today as when it was made.
