Here is a truly stunning 1920's era Art Deco ring that was hand made in 18ct white gold and platinum and set with onyx and diamonds resulting in one of the most fabulous Art Deco onyx and diamond rings that you will ever see.
Art Deco onyx and diamond rings always look superb thanks to the wonderful contrast of black and white which is no exception in this Art Deco ring, however there is one feature of this ring that really separates it from so many other onyx and diamond rings of this era - the facetted onyx on the top.
Nearly all the onyx in these rings are either flat or cabochon cut, but this onyx is cut with such a wonderful high top to it that makes it really stand out.
The on of course it is set with a central diamond in the centre which is milgrain set with that fine crimping around the bezel which was a feature very typical of the jewellers of the Art Deco 1920's.
The top of the ring measures 13.2mm in length by 8mm wide and is so easy to wear all the time day or night.
There is no doubt that Art Deco onyx and diamond rings are one of the most popular and sought after styles of this fabulous era, and this onyx and diamond ring looks spectacular on the finger and is one that is destined to always be commented on how amazing it looks.
On each side are those wonderful "steps" set with more diamonds and again milgrain set. The total diamond weight of this ring is 0.24 carats and the centre diamond is an old European cut diamond and on each side are those delightful rose cut diamonds.
