Hand made in platinum, platinum is such a wonderful precious metal that was used quite often during the Art Deco period thanks to its natural pure white colour and ability to be drawn into a fine wire while still retaining so much strength.
In the centre and the real star of this ring is a superb Colombian emerald that measures 0.65 carats. Colombia has long been regarded as the source for the best quality emeralds in the world, and this one is no exception as it has such a vibrant green colour and magnificent transparency allowing you to see right through the emerald.
Surround the emerald are a total of 14 diamonds that total 0.42 carats and highlight the emerald beautifully and give the ring such an elegance and class.
Both the emerald and the diamonds are not just bezel set, but also milgrain finished which can be seen as the delightful crimping along the edge of the setting.
This milgrain setting was also popular and quite commonly seen in genuine Art Deco jewellery and adds that extra something special to Art Deco rings such as this.
From left to right the ring measures 10.5mm wide by 13.6mm and sits nice and flat on the finger making it a very easy ring to wear all the time.
