Simple, elegant and refined. All words that are perfect to describe this platinum Art Deco diamond engagement ring.
Beautifully hand made in the 1920's, the ring was entirely made in platinum which is such a wonderful material for rings as it is it retains its pure white colour and is incredibly durable and was the metal of choice of the jewellers of the Art Deco period.
Sitting proudly in the centre of this engagement ring is an early brilliant cut diamond that measures 0.52 carats and is H in colour and VS in clarity and sparkles wonderfully. Typical of the fine work that went into hand making this ring, the claws at each corner are actually made of the prongs coming up so elegantly to securely hold the diamond in place.
Then down each side are three single cut diamonds with a total weight of 0.06 carats that adds just the right amount of sparkle to the ring. Across from one side to the other, this distance measures 14.5mm across by 5.3mm wide at the centre.
Genuine Art Deco diamond engagement rings are becoming more and more sought after, and this engagement ring is just so perfect and sits so elegantly on the finger.
