Set with two spectacular solid Lighting Ridge black opals, comes this platinum Art Deco opal and diamond pendant dating from the 1920's that is absolutely exquisite.
This Art Deco pendant has been so beautifully created with all the emphasis surrounding those two magnificent quality solid opals.
Australia produces 95% of the world's opals and are regarded as the best quality, and the best of the best come from Lightning Ridge where the famous Lightning Ridge black opal originates from, and from where these opals are also from and both show and incredible amount of spectral colour that will just captivate you when you are looking at it.
The pendant is set with a combination of the twenty four smaller rose cut diamonds and five European cut diamonds, with a total diamond weight of 0.40 carats which are all set into such an elegant setting made in platinum.
Even the chain is platinum which laid out from end to end measures 41cm in length allowing this pendant to sit perfectly on the neck. From the top opal section to the bottom piece, this distance measures 5.4cm in length and will really stand out no matter where or when it is worn.
