Platinum was used profusely in many Art Deco rings of the 1920's to the 1940's and here is a very elegant Art Deco diamond ring made entirely in platinum.
All hand made in France around 1925, this Art Deco diamond ring is set with 9 diamonds in a cluster design made in a wonderful angular style typical of many Art Deco diamond rings.
Many Art Deco rings and other pieces of jewellery can easily be characterised by the angular designs and shapes within a shape both of which can be seen here in this ring.
The border is square with the corners cut, then in the centre the ring is set with a 0.38 carat round diamond in a square setting which is then surrounded by 8 more diamonds that total 0.64 carats in their own unique setting.
All these diamonds are G in colour and Vs to Si in clarity and are the fabulous hand cut old European cut diamonds.
From left to right the top of the ring measures 15.3mm by 1.3mm and sits so elegantly on the finger and would make a wonderful and very unique Art Deco diamond engagement ring.
No matter the occasion or finger worn this Art Deco diamond ring is sure to impress and delight.
