Jewellery from the Art Deco period of the 1920's is simply stunning and one era of history that has never gone out of fashion and has remained popular even to this day, and this Art Deco ruby and diamond bracelet is most certainly a wonderful example of why the popularity has remained.
Hand made entirely from platinum, the design of this Art Deco bracelet is captivating and the attention to detail is superb.
The diamonds and rubies are all millgrain set where the setting has that very fine and elegant crimping around the edge which is a typical setting of the jewellers of the 1920's.
The design is centred around the cluster of diamonds which stands out so elegantly, however all down the band was not forgotten when this bracelet was made.
Looking at the bracelet there are not only the larger European cut diamonds, but on each corner of rectangle section with the open work are 4 small rose cut diamonds to add to the charm, sparkle and character and shows how much detail was put into this bracelet.
Art Deco jewellers would go that extra step to finish a piece off, and this can be seen with the delightful hand engraving on the side.
The bracelet is set with a total of 59 diamonds that totals 2.48 carats and the 20 rubies totals 0.30 carats and are such a fine red colour that matches so well with the platinum and diamonds.
From end to end the bracelet measures 17.3 cm and is the perfect size to wear and will most certainly be loved and admired.
Platinum Art Deco ruby and diamond bracelets certainly don't get much better than this, and this one is truly magnificent.
