Here is an absolutely stunning hand made platinum engagement ring set with antique diamonds that really does combine the best of both worlds.
Elegantly hand made in platinum by our jeweller, we chose platinum as it is the purest of all the precious metals and retains its pure white colour forever and was also very popular during the 1920's Art Deco era. Set with three old European cut diamonds, these were from antique rings that were beyond repair which really makes use of the antique diamonds while having the beauty of a modern ring. Like the round modern brilliant cut diamond, both cuts if diamonds have 58 facets, however as these diamonds were cut by hand over a century ago, they have slightly different angles.
The centre diamond measures 0.81 carats and the two side diamonds 0.51 carats and 0.53 carats and all are H to I in colour and VS in clarity and all three diamonds really sparkle so well and compliment each other perfectly.
From left to right, the ring measures 17.1mm by 6.8mm wide at the centre and will easily accommodate a wedding band worn along side it.
