Eternity rings are ones where the gemstones go all around the ring in an "eternal" cirle and the always look so good and it is a design that was popular during the Art Deco period of the 1920's such as when this sapphire and diamond eternity ring was made.
Made entirely in platinum, the use of platinum was common during the Art Deco era thanks to its strength and ability to hold gemstones very securely and also be able to remain pure white in colour.
The eternity ring is set with six sections of sapphire and six sections of diamonds with each section of diamonds having two in each and every section of blue sapphires having three in each.
The total weight of the sapphires is 0.36 carats and the total weight of diamonds is 0.12 carats and the ring measures 2.9mm wide.
Currently the ring is a size O 1/2 and can be reduced in size a small amount if needed.
Diamond eternity rings always look so elegant on the finger and getting one that is set with sapphires as well as being in platinum and from the Art Deco period makes this even more special.
