Here is a very rare antique sterling silver lapel pocket watch that was made in the late 1800’s and will always be admired whenever and wherever it is worn.
Made in sterling silver, this wonderful antique folly sits perfectly in the lapel of a suit and is fitted in a similar way to a pair of cufflinks. With the base sitting behind the lapel measuring 22.8mm in diameter, the pocket watch section itself measures a dainty 11.7mm in diameter. The dial is wonderful to admire with the black numerals all the way around and then the number twelve in red. Combine this with those delightful hands and size and this will certainly capture the eye and be such a wonderful conversation starter.
Inside is a Swiss wind pin set movement that has just come back from a full service and overhaul and comes with our twelve month warranty.
This lapel pocket watch was retailed by the Australian jeweller V Fleet This exact lapel pocket watch is featured on page 294 of the book, Australian Jewellers: Gold & Silversmiths, Makers & Marks, by Kenneth Cavill, Graham Cocks, and Jack Grace.
