Here is a very rare Omega Constellation made for the Japanese market in 1973 reference 168.0065 that has a few subtle but unique features compared to other vintage Omega Constellation watches.
The case is what is called the "broken leg" case where the lugs give a bent look to them to fit seamlessly onto the Omega band and the dial has the most sought after of all the Omega Constellation dials, the pie-pan dial where the edge of the dial is facetted.
However on this version of Omega Constellation, the star symbol was never placed on the model that was made for the Japanese market making it a subtle yet important feature.
Another unique aspect of this watch is that it has the 23 jewelled automatic Omega calibre 1011 that is not often found in Constellations. This watch has just back from a full service and runs absolutely perfect and comes with our twelve month warranty.
A brilliant looking rare Omega Constellation watch for any collector.

When we expanded and renovated our store in late 2022, we put in not only a full watchmaking and polishing workshop, but two watchmakers. Our head watchmaker, Lorenzo Del Rosso, used to used to work for Tag Heuer, LVMH and then Rolex, before coming to Kalmar Antiques. We also now an authorised Omega watch service centre. This allows us to be able to service your Omega watch to full Omega specifications.
Along with Omega watches, we can service other watches such as Longines, Breitling, Cartier and Patek Philippe to name a few.
How often should I service my Omega?
As per official OMEGA guidelines, the service frequency depends on the use of the watch and the environment in which it is worn. The water resistance can, for example, be affected by the aging of the gaskets or by an accidental shock. Therefore, we recommend that you have the water resistance checked once a year and a complete service performed every 5 to 8 years.
Kalmar Antiques are now an authorised OMEGA watch service centre, based in the heart of Sydney in the Queen Victoria Building.
Taking your watch to an authorised OMEGA watch service centre such as Kalmar Antiques, will ensure that not only is your watch serviced to the highest standards, but only genuine Omega parts are used. This will also allow the watch to be covered by a two year warranty.
