Vintage 1950s Aquamarine Ring in Rose and Green Gold

Here is such an incredible ring that was made during the fabulous Retro period of the 1950’s, in not just 14 carat rose gold, but 14 carat green gold as well. Gold can be made in a few colours by adding various other alloys in varying amounts, such as copper to produce rose gold, and by adding the right amount of silver, green gold is produced. While the colour of the green is not as pronounced when compared to rose or white gold, the tone has a lovely soft hue that in this ring stands out even more against the rose gold.

The design of this ring makes it look so incredible on the finger, and set with a 7.70 carat aquamarine in the centre, this ring is sure to get the attention and compliments that it rightly deserves.
