Jewellery from the 1950’s Retro era resulted in some fabulous bold designs that had not been seen in earlier periods of jewellery.
And here we have a fantastic aquamarine and diamond brooch hand made in the 1950’s in 14ct rose gold. Rose gold was often used in this period and has a wonderful warm colour to it that looks fabulous on any background outfit.
In the centre is an incredible emerald cut aquamarine that measures an impressive 10.3 carats in weight. The colour of this aquamarine is so fine and is mesmerising to look at.
On each side of the brooch is set a round brilliant cut diamond that both measure 0.10 carats and adds just the right amount of sparkle and elegance to it.
Measuring 65.5mm in length by 14.3mm wide at the centre the straight bar design easily allows this brooch to be worn horizontal, vertical or at an angle and always look so stylish and elegant.
1950’s retro era jewellery is becoming so sought after, and this brooch certainly shows why.
