Made in Austria towards the end of the Art Deco period of the late 1930's, this wonderful brooch is made in 14ct rose gold in a floral design.
It is set with 8 diamonds and a central pearl, however it is not just the gold, diamonds and the pearl that makes this brooch amazing, it is also the carved rock crystal used to form the petals of the brooch.
The rock crystal is a wonderful translucent white colour and carved so beautifully.
From left to right, this brooch measures and impressive 4.9cm across and really stands out on any jacket.
