The Rolex Air King was first introduced in 1945 and here is a great looking Rolex Air King Super Precision reference 5500.
The Super Precision used the higher grade Rolex calibre and inside this model is the Rolex calibre 1530 with 25 jewels which was the upgraded version to the Rolex calibre 1520 which used only 17 jewels.
This movement has come back from a complete service and comes with our twelve month warranty and of course runs perfectly.
Fitted in the stainless steel Rolex Oyster case which measures 34mm across plus the Rolex screw down crown, this is such a comfortable vintage Rolex watch to wear all the time.
With the dial displaying index markers and centre sweep seconds, it is all original and achieved a very lovely patina to it adding to the charm of owning and wearing a vintage Rolex watch on your wrist.
Made in 1970, this vintage Rolex Air King has so much going for it and will always be admired on the wrist no matter where or when it is being worn.
