26mm Rolex Datejust red Ombre diamond dial

The Rolex Ombre dial – also know as the Rolex vignette dial – is one of the most beautiful dials ever made by Rolex, and is made by applying over a painstakingly amount of time, lacquer to the dial by only their most experienced technicians. The dial is set on a rotating platform, and when the lacquer is applied, the varnisher has to very carefully apply more coloured lacquer to the outer edge resulting in a darkening edge. This results in a stunning gradient that goes from a lighter colour in the centre, to an intense vivid colour on the outer edge as can be seen here in this stunning ladies Rolex Datejust made in 18 carat yellow gold and steel.

Measuring 26mm across, the dial is certainly destined to be admired from near or far. With the sparkle from the ten diamonds adding to its beauty, this is such an incredibly beautiful looking watch in the very hard to find red dial.
