Rolex Deepsea model 116660 with box and papers

Deepsea is defined as "A place of unfathomable pressure" and the Rolex Deepsea model 116660 is a watch that certainly lives up to that definition by not only daring to go where no other watch can, but by the technological innovations incorporated into this superb watch.

The Rolex Deepsea is also known as the Rolex DSSD and is the big brother of the Rolex Submariner and Rolex SeaDweller by being in a larger 44mm case.
As the Rolex Deepsea is capable of going to an astonishing 12,800 feet/3,900 meters it is made in the much harder 904L grade stainless steel and the case back is grade 5 titanium to prevent the watch case from buckling at that extreme depth.

Like its predecessor the Rolex SeaDweller this too has the helium escape valve and now has the scratch resistant sapphire crystal with the Rolex ringlock system that allows the watch to withstand an eye watering 3 tonnes of pressure.

The Rolex Deepsea truly is the last word in the deep sea diving world of watches and is fitted on the Rolex Oyster band with the Rolex Glidelock extension system for added ease to put it over a wetsuit.

This Rolex Deepsea is a serious watch and comes complete with its box and papers and our 12 month warranty and compared to the Rolex Submariner, this is like pulling up to a SUV at the lights in a Hummer - a truly awesome watch by Rolex.
