Rolex diamond Ombre dial 26mm with box and papers

The Rolex Ombre dial – also known as a vignette dial, is one of the most beautiful dials ever to grace a watch, and here is one in one of the most beautiful colours that they ever produced.

And here is the ladies 26mm Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust reference 69173 that is fitted on the Rolex Jubilee band and all made in 18 carat yellow gold and stainless steel.

The Rolex Ombre dial is made by applying over a painstakingly amount of time, lacquer to the dial by only their most experienced technicians. The dial is set on a rotating platform, and when the lacquer is applied the varnisher has to very carefully apply more coloured lacquer to the outer edge resulting in a darkening edge, resulting in a stunning gradient that goes from a lighter colour in the centre, to an intense vivid colour that with this one, is set with ten diamonds. The red vignette dial is one of the most coveted dials and looks sensational day or night.

Inside the 29 jewelled Rolex calibre 2135 has recently been serviced by our Rolex trained watchmaker and comes with our two year warranty and its Rolex box and papers.

Even the back of the watch case still retains its original green sticker showing how little this watch has been worn and why it is still in superb condition.
