Queen Victoria loved her Stuart history and all that is Scottish, making Scottish agate jewellery or “pebble†jewellery as it is also know, very popular, and here is a very wide and romantic antique Scottish agate bracelet that is exquisite from one end to the other.
Made in sterling silver in the 1880's, the bracelet is set with three pieces of agate with the largest one measuring 4cm wide and certainly standing out on the wrist.
Measuring 21.5cm in length, each of the panels in between have been so incredibly and highly detail hand engraved which would not have only taken a considerable amount of time, but was obviously done by an expert engraver.
And the clasp at the back is just so romantic and beautiful to admire with a gorgeous heart shaped clasp that makes this such a unique and special piece.
From the warm colour of the agate, the hand engraving and all the way to the heart shaped clasp at the back, this antique bracelet is sure to become a family heirloom.
