Rare 1957 rose gold and steel Rolex 6605

Here is a truly exceptional vintage Rolex that has so many wonderful features and is destined to always look amazing on the wrist and no doubt always be admired and commented on.

Dating from 1957, both the case and band are not just made in gold and steel, this one is made in rose gold and steel. The colour of the rose gold has such a fabulous warm tone to it that looks incredible on the wrist, and compliments the dial so well.

The dial itself has aged so perfectly and, like the rest of the watch, is all original.

Then there is the date wheel which is affectionately known as a “Roulette date wheel”. This means that the even numbers of the month are in red, and the odd numbers in black which is a wonderful feature that combined with the rose gold makes this vintage Rolex watch so much more unique and special.

With the case measuring the iconic 36mm across plus the Rolex screw down crown, inside it is fitted with the Rolex calibre 1065 that has just had a complete service and overhaul by our head watchmaker who himself used to work for Rolex, and comes with our two-year warranty.

This is one of the most beautiful examples of a vintage Rolex out there, and one that is as unique as it is so elegant.
