Rose gold has such a wonderful warm colour to it and in 9ct it is often more rose in colour and the higher in carat the more "warm" the colour becomes.
And in this antique ring, the colour of the gold is simply divine.
Made in France around 1900, this ring was made in 18ct rose gold that looks so elegant on the finger.
The design is so typical of the French jewellers of the Art Nouveau period and is set with 2 rose cut diamonds and 2 pearls in a very attractive and unique design.
The ring bears the French hallmarks on the outside of the band and the entire ring is in superb condition even well after 110 years have passed.
Measuring 10.4mm in width this is the perfect ring to be worn on its own and still stand out thanks to its characteristic design and lovely rose gold.
Art Nouveau rings are becoming increasingly popular for both young and old as it the style allows it to be worn with other antique rings and jewellery yet also seamlessly blend in with very modern contemporary designs.
Having a fantastic antique ring from the Art Nouveau era in 18ct rose gold is just wonderful and this ring will always be treasured.
