Here is an Art Deco ruby and diamond ring that is so elegant and is simply captivating. Entirely hand made in 18ct rose gold and platinum in France during the Art Deco period of the early 1920’s, this ruby and diamond cluster ring is so much more unique than many other ruby and diamond cluster rings.
In the centre is a natural ruby that measures 1.35 carats in weight and is the surrounded by 12 vibrant European cut diamonds that total 0.60 carats. Ruby and diamond cluster rings has been a traditional design for centuries and this one made in the early Art Deco era then goes one step further to make it even more unique and special by having 12 more natural rubies set amongst the diamonds. These triangular cut rubies really make a wonderful addition to this ring and is just one of the many reasons why Art Deco rings remain so popular today and this ring would suit any finger as well as it would also make a perfect example of an Art Deco engagement ring. All of these additional rubies total 0.24 carats and all the diamonds and rubies are set into platinum with a milgrain finish which can be seen as the fine and elegant crimping along the edge of the setting. The ring measures 12.3mm from left to right by 12.8mm wide.
The use of rose gold is just wonderful and has a soft warm colour to it that works so well and really makes the rubies look even more beautiful. Even the 18ct rose gold band has not been left out in the high quality making of this ring as it is actually three bands that lead up to a split design where it joins the top.
Without a doubt, this Art Deco ruby and diamond cluster ring is just magnificent and is absolutely breathtaking.
