Ruby and diamond ring made in 1891.

Victorian antique ruby and diamond rings such as this one, are perfect for any occasion, including as a wonderful and vibrant example of an antique engagement ring.
This ruby and diamonds ring was hand made in 18ct yellow gold in Birmingham 1891, and is still in fantastic condition all these years later.
The ring is set with 3 wonderful red natural rubies that total 0.76 carats in weight, and all have a very vibrant strong red that is so desired in natural rubies, and they are all matched perfectly in colour. Highlighting the rubies are the diamonds on each side of the centre ruby, however, instead of being set with one diamond on each side of the centre ruby, there are two diamonds each side. The diamond weight is 0.16 carats, giving it that extra sparkle, charm and character.
Considering this ring is 122 years old and still looks so good and is in excellent condition is a real testament to the jewellers of the Victorian era and what they could create.
Antique ruby and diamond rings are always so easy to wear on any finger for any occasion and make wonderful examples of a 40th wedding anniversary present, an engagement ring or simply a ruby and diamond ring for any occasion.
