Instead of having three sapphires and two diamonds, this lovely sapphire and diamond ring has two diamonds set between the sapphires making this ring even more unique and special.
Beautifully hand made in London in 1919, this ring is just a few short years away from being 100 years old and is still in wonderful condition easily able to be worn every day.
Not only would it suit any finger, a ring such as this would make a superb antique sapphire and diamond engagement ring as it sits so good on the finger and really stands out with the fine blue colour coming from the sapphires.
The sapphires are Ceylonese sapphires and total 1.24 carats and all are evenly matched and have that wonderful cornflower blue combined with great transparency allowing you to see right through each sapphire.
As mentioned, instead of one diamond on either side of the centre sapphire, this ring has two old European cut diamonds with a total weight of 0.24 carats and really work well to accentuate this ring even more.
From left to right the ring measures 6.1mm across by 2.8mm wide at the centre diamond and feels so comfortable making it very easy to wear day or night.
A truly lovely ring, this sapphire and diamond ring is just perfect in all respects.
