The Rolex Explorer I would have to be one of the most understated sports models by Rolex that has increased dramatically in popularity in recent years, thanks in part to its elegant design with the smooth bezel, combined with the iconic dial with index markers along with the 3, 6 and 9 numerals and the absence of a date further enhancing its clean smooth look.
This stainless steel Rolex Explorer I reference 14270 will sit perfectly on the wrist in the boardroom, watching a football match, or climbing Mount Everest where its claim to fame from Rolex came from.
Measuring 36mm across plus the Rolex screw down crown and fitted on the Rolex Oyster bracelet, inside is the beautiful automatic 27 jewelled Rolex calibre 3000 that has just undergone a full service, runs perfect and comes with our twelve month warranty.
This Rolex Explorer I will always look and feel so good on the wrist and no doubt be more and more appreciated as time goes by.

A brief history on the Rolex Explorer:
The Rolex Explorer has the official story from Rolex as being worn by Sir Edmund Hillary on his wrist, who along with and Tenzing Norgay’s conquered the summit of Mount Everest in 1953. While he did indeed wear a Rolex, the watch was not branded on the dial with the word "Explorer" however to commemorate the remarkable feat achieved, Rolex released the Oyster Perpetual Explorer that same year. Becoming one of the most subtle of sports watches by Rolex, the Rolex Explorer I is gaining the attention and admiration that it deserves.
