Sterling silver Art Deco photo locket made in the 1930’s

$0.00

The discovery of King Tutankhamun‘s tomb by Howard Carter in 1922 influenced heavily styles and designs of the Art Deco period resulting in what is known as ‘Egyptian revival” and this style and design can be seen here in this lovely sterling silver Art Deco photo locket made in the 1930’s.

The design on both sides has a wonderful design to it influenced by the discoveries in Egypt and with the locket measuring 28.2mm across by 35mm it is a lovely large size that will always stand out and be admired whenever it is worn.

This size will look good on a simple silver chain or as a rel statement piece on a Victorian collar, and with it able to hold two photos inside, it will become so personal once photos are put in.

A very beautiful and elegant photo locket from the Art Deco era.
