Very rare Rolex Golden Egg watch.

Every once in a while, something comes along that will just simply stand out from all the rest.

This is the Rolex Golden-egg model 6634 complete with full box, papers, swing ticket, Chronometer Certificate, Chronometer report and purchase receipt!

Abouth the watch: The Rolex Golden-egg is so named as it was bought out in the 1950's to compete with the gold capped Omega Constellation that had the worlds' thickest gold capping at the time at 100 microns thick.

Rolex, not to be outdone, produced this - the Golden-Egg, a watch with the gold capping an astonishing 240 microns thick! This really is "as good as gold"!

The automatic Rolex movement has the beautiful butterfly rotor - a great looking rotor on the early model Rolex watches.

But what really is sensational is all of the paper work included. The Chronometer report has all the positional errors, the receipt shows that it was bought in 1959 for HK$585, and the box itself is simply wonderful.

You will be really hard pressed to find paper work from this age so complete and in amazing condition such as this.

**The advertisment from the 1950's is not included, it is just to show an early add for this watch**

You will not find a better example anywhere!
