Typical of the style of the 1870’s, the Victorian era drop earrings are made in 18ct yellow gold and set with a pearl surrounded by a wonderful cobalt blue enamel star design.
Set on shepherd hooks, the earrings measure 3.5cm in length from the bottom to where the main part is connected to the top bail and shepherd hook, or 4.8cm from the bottom to the top where the hook starts to curve over and 1.9cm wide at its widest point.
These Victorian earrings look divine on the ear and are in magnificent condition even well after 140 years.
